THE ROLE: CCTV Technician*
As an Experienced CCTV Technician at CGS Sound and Video, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems for our clients.
While leveraging your expertise in CCTV technology, you will also have the opportunity to expand your skill set by collaborating on audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) projects.

- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician, demonstrating a strong understanding of CCTV systems and installation best practices.
- Openness to learning and adapting quickly to new technologies, including AV and IT solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Physical aptitude to perform installation and maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing as necessary.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends to support project deployments and client needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems for various clients and venues.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate CCTV systems with AV and IT solutions, ensuring seamless functionality across all components.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for CCTV-related inquiries, providing technical support and guidance.
- Assist with the setup and operation of AV equipment and IT systems as needed.
- Contribute to IT-related tasks, such as network setup and configuration, to support comprehensive technology solutions.

WHAT WE OFFER:*
* *Pay: *Starting wage of $18 per hour or more depending on experience.
Any work in a week over 40 hours (overtime) paid at 1.
5x your hourly rate.
* *Benefits: *Access to benefits, including health care, company paid phone, and 401k plan (including 3% company contribution)
* *Vacation: *8 paid holidays + 5 paid vacation days + 5 sick days in Year 1, with increase to 10 paid vacation days in Year 2
* *Working Hours: *Typically working 8AM – 5PM Monday – Friday.
Occasional overnight stays for out-of-town customers / jobs.
