SUMMARY:
This position oversees Steel Fabrication shop (Machine Operators, Fabricators, Welders, Laborers).
Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the Macuch Steel Employee Handbook.
Daily responsibilities include maximize production, minimize cost, manage personnel, advance information flow, promote safety and assure a top-quality end product.

Control Expenses.
Quality & Safety.
Customer Service.
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Five ·or more years' experience in shop floor production, specifically with structural steel ideally.
Two years or more experience as foreman or supervisor.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Experience with CNC and manual machine operation.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO 1 /16" IS A MUST.
