R.
Snell Contractor is currently seeking construction laborers with experience in any type of construction, landscaping or manual labor positions.
This position will be doing a variety of general laborer duties to assist in the general operation of each job site.
Construction experience, flagger, traffic control or flagging is accepted.

Employees in the position often advance from this entry level position to a more skilled position, including learning carpentry and concrete finishing skills or to operate heavy equipment.
Job Responsibilities
The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties:
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects;
Shoveling and raking dirt, gravel, and asphalt;
Assist in building and wrecking forms;
Assist in concrete pours;
Excavate and fill trenches and ditches;
Checking and maintaining grade stakes;
Maintain a clean job site- pick up all tools and equipment, and secure job site(s) each day to eliminate potential hazards;
Perform materials handling and storage;
Load/unload trucks and haul materials,
Flagging traffic;
Set up and maintenance of erosion control;
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed;
The above listed duties require periods of standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and bending as well as periodic lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Position Requirements: Full time + hours;
Able to work nights and weekends when required;
Have a valid driver's license;
Willing to learn new skills such as small hand power tools and willing to learn to operate heavy equipment;
Must be able to work nights and weekends when required.
