Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with OT
Job Purpose: Ensure all inbound truck shipments are unloaded in a timely manner and to ensure accuracy during stocking of inventory by using a hand scanner while driving a standup or sit-down forklift.
The assigned employee is on a cross functional schedule, so will either perform specific job title duties such as order picking, replenishment, or other job duties associated in the warehouse.
Duties and responsibilities:
Ability to lift, up to 50lbs constantly.
Not afraid of heights.
Use safety precautions while driving forklifts.
Work independently.
Pay close attention to detail.
Must be flexible due to shift changes.
Supports other DC areas to facilitate customer order processing; including but not limited to inbound receiving, order picking, truck loading, and confirmation/special handling.
Note: Productivity standard is required to maintain employment status.
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Teamwork: Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, walk; bend use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required the ability to climb stepstools, and stairs, twist /bend (neck/waist,) or squat/kneel.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
