Essential Job Functions:
Perform posting of incoming insurance and payments in a timely manner
Assist with maintenance of all reimbursement to remain current
Assist Billing Manager to keep account aging as current as possible
Print insurance payment deposit slips to ensure finance receives the correct information regarding payments
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times; adheres to all HIPPA guidelines
Communicate effectively by telephone and to the patient at his/her level of understanding
Promote positive public relations with patients, visitors, families, physicians and others
Exhibit characteristics consistent with CPC values for quality, respect, teamwork and pride
Maintain physical appearance and conduct consistent with acceptable professional ethics and CPC standards
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/her supervisor

Equipment Operated: Will use basic office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, and fax machine.

Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs.
