*General Summary: *Provide quality and technically relevant instruction in Phlebotomy Technician best practices aligned with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam and certification.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Provide quality and technically relevant instruction in Phlebotomy Technician best practices
* Provide quality and technically relevant instruction of course curriculum
* Assess and record grading for all homework assignments, quizzes, and tests
* Participate in marketing of courses to prospective students
* Assist with course/program evaluation and continuous improvement
* Keep staff informed of any curriculum or student code of conduct issues
* Be familiar with all emergency procedures posted in the classroom
* Maintain acceptable program quality and satisfaction scores
*Education and Experience:*
* 3 years of work experience in a relevant medical professional experience
* Registered Nurse and/or Medical Assistant and/or current industry certifications or licensure in health-related field
* Comfortable with teaching in classroom and on a distance learning platform
* Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and some weekend assignments
* Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.
e Microsoft Office suite)
