Shift: *48hrs - 4x12hrs - 7a-7p Days *
*Job Description:*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a corrections facility in Augusta, GA.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to inmates within the facility.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct health assessments and screenings for inmates
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
* Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes to the medical team
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans for inmates
* Provide health education and counseling to inmates on various health topics
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
* Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures within the corrections facility
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and well-being of inmates
*Requirements:*
* Valid RN license in the state of Georgia
* Previous experience working in a corrections or similar healthcare setting is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* CPR certification
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
