*Job Description:*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a corrections facility in Augusta, Georgia.
As a Corrections LPN, you will play a vital role in providing medical care and support to incarcerated individuals within the facility.
*Responsibilities:*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
* Monitor and assess the health status of inmates, including vital signs and symptoms.
* Assist with medical procedures, such as dressing changes and wound care.
* Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for inmates.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
* Educate inmates on health issues, medications, and self-care techniques.
*Requirements:*
* Valid LPN license in the state of Georgia.
* Previous experience working in a corrections or similar healthcare setting preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
* Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records.
