What You'll Do in This Position The SRNS Compensation Manager is responsible for the oversight, development, and administration of all SRNS Compensation Programs for exempt, non-exempt, executive, intern, and apprentice employees.
You will be expected to manage all programs in compliance with applicable SRNS policies and procedures, legislation, and contractual requirements including Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Pay Act, Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR 31.

The SRNS Compensation Manager is also responsible for: - Handling Compensation responsibilities as they relate to OFCCP audits, DCAA audits, GAO audits, internal audits, DOE/DOD inquiries, and required contractual approval requests and reports.
- Utilizing all available resources to conduct market benchmarking and salary survey analysis to execute the annual Compensation Increase Plan (CIP), routine updates, and proposed changes to bolster the competitiveness and compliance of SRNS Compensation programs.
- Providing comprehensive management support and direction in the planning, development and coordination of Compensation data management programs, systems, and processes.
Those support services include, but are not limited to, providing counsel, policy interpretation and administrative services for the consistent maintenance, operation, and improvement of all Compensation and HR site wide programs and practices.
- Assisting Compensation Analysts in evaluating and approving job descriptions, employee reclassifications, and pay actions.
You will serve as a trusted partner with other human resource staff, functional line management, and senior leadership on various activities such as job evaluation reviews, reclassifications, salary issues, and implementation of annual compensation increase and variable pay programs.
- Applying your knowledge of the government contractor budget process (including labor rates, fringe rates, and forward pricing) to existing programs and to leverage that knowledge to drive new programs and policy updates.
- Directly responsible for day-to-day personnel management of all SRNS Compensation Analysts.
- Recommending and executing innovative strategies to aid in workforce retention and obtain approvals for these strategies from senior leadership and DOE.
- Serving as the lead Compensation point-of-contact for our Federal customers.
Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications.
Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.
S.
citizenship.
Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.

Clearance Required to Perform Job? None Qualifications We Require Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Other Qualifications Prior experience managing Compensation teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of and significant experience applying compensation principles, techniques and data analysis principles and methods for base pay, incentives, and other variable pay programs.
Comprehensive knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act and other employment laws and regulatory requirements.
Experience conducting job evaluations, job audits, market analysis and developing/designing salary structures.
Qualifications We Desire Prior experience overseeing Compensation teams in highly regulated environments such as DOE, DOD, or energy/utility industries.
Effective interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate and present sensitive, technical, and/or confidential data with clarity and discretion.
WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
Working knowledge of HRIS technologies.
PeopleSoft experience preferred but not required.
