With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at the Aiken-Barnwell Mental Health Center, 1135 Gregg Highway, Aiken, SC 29803.
Job Purpose: Performs building and ground maintenance for the facilities and property owned by ABMHC ensuring compliance with federal and state entities.
Job Functions: Provides building and grounds maintenance.
This includes but is not limited to: janitorial and grounds maintenance, addressing safety issues, addressing items identified on inspections, interacting with vendors as needed, and general repairs.
Ensures vehicle fleet is maintained based on State Fleet policies.
This includes preparing mental health mobile unit and driving unit to public relations events during and after business hours.
Complies with Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, OSHA, DOFS and all safety requirements.
Participates in monthly supervision and required trainings annually.
Perform other duties as needed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
State Requirements: High School Diploma and trades experience related to the area of employment.
Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year for year basis for basis.
