As a Medical Assistant, you will have direct patient communication working closely and work closely with our providers in all aspects of the medical practice.
Since we are a busy dermatology practice, this job requires applicants who can multi-task and pay attention to detail without getting overwhelmed.

This position is full-time and you may be required to work some holidays and weekends.
* Clinic: Monday – Friday 7:45 am - 5:30 pm
* Mohs and Recon: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:45 am - 5:30 pm *(CANDIDATES WILL WORK CLINIC DAYS ON NON SURGICAL DAYS).

Recon has a unique opportunity available for candidates to work 10:00 am - 7:00 pm M,W,F *(IF SELECTED FOR THIS TIME CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK LATE AS PROCEDURES DO RUN OVER TIME; CANDIDATES WILL WORK CLINICS ON NON SURGICAL DAYS).

_*Responsibilities:*_
* Take patients to exam rooms
* Take patient vitals
* Stock exam rooms
* Charting
* Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job
* Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a positive manner
* Ability to assist with examinations and procedures: biopsies and surgeries
* Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments: including proper safety and sterilization standards
* Follow all OSHA, HIPAA standards, policies and procedures

* While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly sitting, standing and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
* Lifting and/or moving up to (not limited to) 25 pounds
_*Qualifications:*_
* High school diploma or equivalent (required)
* CMA certification (required)
* EPIC software system (preferred)
* Medical office experience (preferred)
