Wound Care Nurse

We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our team! May be a Licensed Practical Nurse OR Registered Nurse.
*Hours are 8:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday* *\* WEEKEND ON CALL ROTATION REQUIRED\** *​Responsibilities:* * Complies with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care in the execution of assigned duties.
* Collaborate with Wound Care MD, MD, NP, and other facility staff to provide patient care * Administers and records medications following physician orders.
* Complete weekly rounds with Wound Care MD.
* Member of facility QA Team.
* Provides emotional support and effective communication to our residents and their families.
* Coordinates with facility leadership to provide excellent quality care to our residents.
​*Qualifications:* * Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
* Must have wound care experience.
* Must have a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse from the Georgia State Nursing Board.
* Familiarity with medical tools and equipment * Ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
* Compassionate and caring demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.
00 - $29.
