*A Brief Overview* Assists in ensuring that medication needs and regulatory compliance standards for patients are met.
Responsible for managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately all while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
*What you will do* * Operates production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workstations for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
* Handles warehouse and vendor drug deliveries, completing cycle counts, returns-to-stock and waiting bin inventories to be in accordance with company policies and procedures as permitted by law and as directed by the pharmacy leadership team.
* Initiates preparation and administration of vaccines to patients to ensure safe services are provided.
* Monitors and responds to adverse reactions and reports adverse reaction events to comply with public health requirements.
* Provides education to patients about vaccines, medications and other services/products and answers questions to obtain informed consent.
* Gathers patient information to tracking and document relevant medical information for each patient.
* Conducts routine inventory assessments to monitor and manage vaccine, medication, and related product supplies.
* Ensures timely completion of outbound patient care calls as directed by pharmacy leadership team and/or workstation assignments and queues.

Salary Range The typical salary range for this role is: Min Salary- $16.
00 Max Salary- $20.

Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing - Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and resolving issues - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information - Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medications to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals - Follow aseptic technique and maintain cleanliness in the pharmacy area - Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience - Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) is preferred - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations - Experience in an acute care or critical care setting is highly desirable - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
