Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Stay current on advancements in nursing practices and technologies
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or higher)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and hospice care
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and regulations
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement care plans based on individual patient needs
- Collaborative approach to working with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
