Responsibilities: Telemetry Tech – Fulltime/Days Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities.

com Telemetry Technician performs continual monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide ongoing assessment of patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
Duties: Accurate rhythm interpretation of routine strips.
Recognizes and provides ongoing assessment of any change in patient’s rhythm.
Records and documents patient’s rhythms in a timely manner (q4hr).
Ensures accuracy of patient records by filing all documentation in a timely manner.
Communicates all rhythm changes to appropriate nurse.
Provides physicians with accurate information regarding rhythms including documentation.
Maintains monitoring equipment to include, accounts for monitor packs and notifies appropriate persons of malfunctioning, broken or lost equipment.

Work experience requirements: Previous experience preferred.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Must be able to successfully complete basic arrhythmia course and screening test once hired.
