Position Description
Assists the quality manager with developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the quality assurance and performance improvement activities for the transplant program.
Supports patient safety and regulatory adherence.
Compiles key performance data; monitors trends in reporting that warrant intervention; support improvement activities.
Works closely with transplant program leadership to assure continuous transplant regulatory and accreditation compliance.
Enters transplant program data into regulatory databases.
Position Requirements
Associates Degree in Information Systems, Nursing, Allied Health and 1 year or more of experience in healthcare with demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, data analysis and/or performance improvement.
Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirements.
Computer literacy, excellent organization, and communication skills.
Preferred Requirements
1 year or more of experience in transplantation, quality and/or transplant quality assessment and performance improvement.
Knowledge of transplant regulations.
