Position Description
The Anesthesia Technician Intern is an integral part of the support of the model of care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures that involve the use of anesthesia.
The anesthesia tech is expected to assist with the daily operational flow to ensure Operating Room (OR) procedures have the necessary instrumentation, supplies, and equipment needed by the anesthesia team to provide safe and efficient care to patients and assist other department personnel with anesthesia support.
The position requires enrollment in the Medical College of Georgia as a student and good academic standing.
Position Requirements
Some College: Current MCG medical student in good academic standing.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
