Position Description
Provides strategic and operational leadership for all sites of the Georgia Cancer Center ensuring the coordination of safe, high-quality care across the continuum.
Develops strategic and operational plans in alignment with the Hospital and Nursing Division's mission, vision, and values.
Ensures compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements and national patient safety goals for the delivery of patient care that is highly reliable and patient-family centered.
Works in alignment with the AVP of Ambulatory Nursing and the VP/Chief Operating Officer, AUMA to obtain operational metrics, standards, and goals.
Position Requirements
MSN or BSN with MHA, MBA or other related master's degree and 7 years or more of experience in Ambulatory Care Nursing.
Licensed to practice as a Professional Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or have an active, qualifying Multi-State Registered Nurse Compact License.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
Thorough knowledge in the operations of Oncology Ambulatory Care.
Appropriate knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Proven ability to deliver results for meeting organizational objectives.
Preferred Requirements
Master's degree.
5 years or more of experience in Ambulatory Oncology leadership.
National Certification in specialized area.
