Position Description
Builds rapport with patients and their families and provides support to improve experience of care.
Consults with colleagues/other staff to improve quality, effectiveness, efficiency.
Provides information, resources, mentoring, and support.
Identifies gaps/strategies to support outcomes.
Work environment is one of collaboration, high energy and mutual support.
Atmosphere requires compassion, responsiveness, and high quality in all interactions and activities.

Position Requirements
Bachelors Degree and 2 years or more of experience in healthcare.
Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement.
Microsoft suite experience.
Effective communicator.
Presentation skills.
Project/program management.
Knowledgeable of resources.
Self-motivated.
Conflict resolution.
Preferred Requirements
5 years or more of experience in Patient Advocacy, Clinical Pastoral Education, patient experience/satisfaction.
Strong writing/presentation ability.
Support group development.
Patient Advocacy, Patient Satisfaction knowledge.
Aggressive behavior training.
Certifications: Patient Advocacy; Ethics; MOAB; Chaplain.
