Position Description Supports professional staff in providing care and service to all patients/families.
Under direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel, performs a variety of intermediate level nursing care activities that contribute to the comfort and safety of patients.
Supports the plan of care for assigned patients.
Position Requirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization.
Candidate must have one the following: Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program, Medical Assistant program, or Direct Patient Care Allied Health program; or successful completion of the Nursing Fundamentals course from an accredited registered nursing program; or, minimum of two years of related experience.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
