Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant *preferred*.
A *minimum of 1 year* *experience as a *_*Medical Scribe*_ *required*.
A *minimum of 1 year *as a *back office/clinic medica*l *assistant* *required (must have recent experience working in clinic setting) *, experience in _*Dermatology*_ *highly* *preferred*.
Experience with electronic medical records *highly* *preferred*, experience with _*Modernizing Medicine EMR*_ *highly* *preferred*.
Must have good communication, computer and customer service skills.
Must be able to accept constructive criticism from physicians and supervising staff.
Ability to function in a fast paced medical office with great attention to detail.
Assist providers efficiently and accurately with exams and procedures.
Accurately document necessary information into electronic medical records as a scribe.
Must be able to preform job duties to include: rooming patients, taking medical history, assist with medical and cosmetic procedures, injections, charting, scheduling, phone triage, cleaning and stocking rooms, prior authorizations, as well as any other assigned task.
May be required to cross train.
