What You'll Do in This Position Purpose of this management position may include any, but not necessarily all, of the disciplines in regulatory and environmental compliance, program management, project execution and management, sample data management, environmental monitoring and reporting, safety and health, radiological protection, and health physics.
Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed.
Obtain safety training, obey safety rules.

Take the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or will create an unsafe conditions.
- Meets strategy and objectives of the Program - Interface with all levels of management, across all SRS contractors and DOE in the execution of programmatic responsibilities - Interpret regulatory/DOE and other requirements and direct their implementation at SRS - Act as SRS representative for responsible elements to the DOE, regulatory agencies, auditors, internal/external evaluators and inspectors, DOE and other stakeholders - Manage and oversee the Program responsibilities and scope - Accountable for product quality, schedule and budget (as required) - Coaches and effectively communicates to reporting staff - Maintain compliance with DOE directives and other laws, regulations and requirements - Engage and support Continuous Improvement activities - Demonstrate commitment to environmental awareness, and protection of Human Health and the Environment.
Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications.
Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.
S.
citizenship.
Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.

Clearance Required to Perform Job? Q Qualifications We Require High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential Qualifications We Desire Bachelor degree in business, engineering or sciences preferred.
Experience in regulatory, project, planning or directly related technical field is desirable.
Management, lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Good interpersonal/communications skills.
Fundamental knowledge of management practices, budgeting, employee relations.
