Job Summary:
The Back of House Manager at Your Pie - Pat Landon in Grovetown, Georgia is a full time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry within the franchise sector.
This individual contributor role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the back of house operations, including food preparation, kitchen organization and cleanliness, inventory management, and supervising kitchen staff.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong leadership skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Back of House Manager position offers a competitive hourly rate of $12 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly.
In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible for earned vacation pay.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of back of house operations, including food preparation, kitchen organization and cleanliness, inventory management, and staff training.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor and order inventory to maintain proper stock levels.
- Manage and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure all food products are prepared and presented according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Address any customer concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service.
- Train new employees and ensure all staff members are properly trained on safety, sanitation, and customer service standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
